Mother's Day.
Lots of celebrations in our Hispanic barrio here in San Antonio.
Lots of barbacoa too and they have beer in tubs of ice with rock salt on top.Handmade corn tortillas, frijoles borrachos, guacamole, onions barbequed plain in foil con potatoes and peppers. For those of us Indios who don't rinl alcohol -- lots of Mexican Coca-Colas imported direct!I am lucky to have these good neighbors.
Mother's Day is a big deal. The Flores family and Hernandez family is making it memorable.
Since I don't really have a family anymore I can borrow this one for the day.
Lots of accordion music too and we're all out here on the parking lot. Grito time.
OMG! IS THAT A POT OF CARNE GUISADA?
