"O Jerusalem" is a \n extremely objective account of the Israeli War of Independence" dealing with only the military & strategical aspects of the war between "The Jews & The Arabs."
This would make an amazing film--lots of combat sequences and special effects and portrays both Jews or Arabs in a sympathetic way.
The screenplay and story board practically writes itself... Like "The Longest Day" which was an outstanding war film in its own right ( although I preferred the book)
My Dad took us to see it because he wanted me to know what WW II was like.
