@TheHill Are you aware that even as Uber feverishly recruits drivers as independent contractors they are also working nonstop to develop a driverless car thus reducing and/or eliminating the need for those recruited drivers?
Which makes me ask, WHY are they recruiting drivers?
maybe it is because their app stores all the personal info about the drivers and the passengers from their phones not to mention what they already got on the application to become a driver.
It's the perfect setup for an NSA info grab.
It reminds me of when bitcoin burst on the scene. I was very skeptical that here is a cyber currency whose value fluctuated too wildly for my liking and is backed by nothing but electrons in cyberspace and could be hacked and vanish at any minute.When I dared top point this out I was THREATENED by hackers . I figured the same thing wopuld happen with Uber since I think the same people arep promoting it ...
