There are several place to avoid when there is a flood or heavy rain of any kind--one is the Blanco River through Hays,Comal County which is treacherous and Shoal Creek in Austin,TX..Brushy Creek in Williamson County,Texas can be hazardous too.

I am waiting for a major tornado to clean out these huge overpriced residential condo towers of arrogant yuppieness which will be something to see as they sway in the wind and the torrential sheets of rain slap them.
What works in NYC will not necessarily work in Texas and I am not sure it works in NYC.I hope I am not anywhere around when this cataclysm happens
