Western Illinois University linebacker set to become bone marrow donor for infant

20-year-old sophomore Jordan Veloz, a linebacker for the school¿s football team, posing with head coach coach Bob Nielson next to a poster for the Be The Match marrow registry in Macomb, Ill. Veloz is set to become a most valuable player for an infant with a rare immune disorder. The school said Monday, April 27, 2015, that Veloz signed up last year during a bone marrow registry drive on campus. He was informed last month that he might be a match and then this month he was told that he was a match.
