Car thieves were illegale chop shop guys who will use the parts to put in another vehicle which will then be taken to Mexico or sold. Good luck finding them. These guys are good. On;y took a matter of minutes to strip it all out. They work in gangs --using bobtail trucks or reinforced vans and sometimes repo-style wreckers.
Another reason you don't want illegale\s in your neighborhood.
