"After being spotted shopping in central London last week wearing a golden ring on 'the special finger' sources close to the couple can in fact confirm that One Direction star Zayn Malik and singing sensation Skylar Jones will be tying the knot next year! The ring was golden, with some minor details on it. Judging by the fact that the pair ventured to the Bahamas last week, our guess is that Zayn popped the question during their stay.
Despite being together not even a year, people close to both have claimed that 'they feel their ready', 'what's the point in waiting?', and that 'when two people are in love as much as them, nothing should stop them.'
We can't wait to hear more news on the big day, so stay tuned for more information."
I think I nearly died from laughter. How stupid do people get these days? Honestly, I was wearing the ring on my left hand for crying out loud. Bedsides, it was my mums ring. I only recently inherited it from my aunt, and I haven't stopped wearing it since. It means a lot to me, and the press can't respect that. Do people actually believe I would marry someone after 10 months? I know people who have been together 10 years and aren't even engaged! I bet we are all over twitter. And who are the sources close to us? I'm pretty sure I would know if I was getting married next year. My phone rang, and I quickly opened it, wanting it to be Zayn. He's got a long period of time of before the boys hit America so I don't have to worry about not seeing him, seeing as I return home about the same time he performs in LA. It's going to turn out perfectly.
"Hello?" I spoke.
"Skylar, my house. Now!" Scott called down the phone.
"Urgh okay, but if it's about my engagement, then I'm not bothering," I sighed.
"Wait, you're not actually getting married are you?" He asked, terror in his voice.
"God no! What kind of person do you think I am? What do you want? I really can't be bothered to move right now," I said.
"Well, I needed to make sure the rumours are false, and please put something on the Internet. ASAP," he instructed.
"Yes sir," I said.
"See you later babe,"
"Byee Scotty! I wuv euuu!" I said and hung up.
Why bother with a tweet when you can do a twitcam? Hehehehe. So that's what I did.
"Hey guys!" I waved into the camera. I got loads of responses.
"Okay so I haven't done one of these in ages... I am gonna do an extra long one! First things first, y'all need to learn your left and rights! I wear my ring on my left hand you dingbats! I'm not engaged, believe me, I would know. Besides, this ring wasn't a present, it was my mums. But anyway, what do you want to do?" I asked. Many people tweeted in. I chose some of the best.

Yeah, I've decorated my flat now and I LOVE IT! It's amazing and colourful, my dream land.
"Ok, this is my kitchen. My favourite room, because it stores all my food,
This is the living room where I watched TV. This is my kitchen table where I eat. This is my bathroom, where I yanno.. Do bathroom stuff... This is my room, where I sleep... Oh god.." I shriek, picking a bra up off the floor!
"You weren't supposed to see that! And this is the guest room! That's my house! I also keep my music equipment in the studio.." I explained to my laptop. I think it's good that the fans get an insight to my house, because not many celebrities do that. It's important. Just then, my doorbell rang.
"I'll be right back.." I said and ran off. Who could it be? I unlocked and opened the door to see a hooded figure. He pulled the hood down to reveal Mr Malik.
"Hello there," I smiled.
"Hey babe, mind if I join you?" He smiles, holding up a bag of Chinese takeAway.
"Uhh of course! I'm on twitcam tho so we have other visitors..." I smiled.
"Ha ok, just as long as they don't stay too long." He winked and came in. I went back over to the camera and took a deep breath. This would be interesting. I scrolled through the questions. Who was it?
"Yeah that was uh... Zayn. He brought food so I had to let him in! So you have Zayn as well now!" I said happily. My mentions exploded. How lucky did the fans get today? I answered some questions until Zayn came in with 2 plates of Chinese.
"You brought food, you are my hero," I smiled, and took a bite.
"Mmm, good stuff here," I mumbled.
"Oh and just to clarify... We are most definitely not engaged!" Zayn laughed.
"Yep, I actually cried when I heard that I'm getting married next year! C'mon, I'm 18 for gods sake!" I laughed.
"So what have we been talking about?" Zayn asked.
"Wait so... You weren't watching me?" I said sadly.
"Unfortunately no... I was getting food for you," he said. We were sitting on my sofa, next to each other, with my laptop on the coffee table.
"Ah okay, I guess I can let you off. Ok, send in questions for the both of us! We'll do as many as we can" I smiled.
"Zayn throw Chinese food at Sky,- hmm.. She might punish me for that!" Zayn winked.
"Zayn! No I wouldn't," I said, between gritted teeth. This was beyond embarrassing.
"Sky is Zayn good in bed?-, well... He's average I guess. Room for improvement there! I'm kidding, I'm not answering that!" I giggled.
"Would you ever make a couple video?- Aha we should... You may see that on vine in a few weeks!" Zayn announced.
"IT'S NEARLY 1 YEAR SINCE YOU MET- I know... It's crazy, I can't believe it.. So much has happened!" I said.
"Yeah, but we are gonna enjoy it a lot," Zayn added.
"Can you do a makeup video? Like Jai and Ariana? Now that's something I wanna see- Okay, Sky go get your makeup..." Zayn said.
I sighed, and ran to get my box. I returned to my living room and opened the box. Zayn's jaw dropped.
"What?" I asked.
"There's- hundreds.." He gasped.
"Don't be so shocked, they all do different things," I explained.
"Well.. Let me do you first," he smiled.
"Oh god... Okay" I sighed and waited for him to begin to paint my face. From what I can tell... He put lipgloss on my eyelids and eyeliner on my cheeks. He must know what it's all for... But just doesn't want to tell me. Zayn took about 5 minutes to do me... And I was horrified when I looked in a mirror.
"Surely you know that lipgloss goes on your lips? Eyeliner on your eyes? There's a clue in the name babe," I giggled.
"Sorry mrs know it all... Your turn!" He said.
"Psft. Ok," I said and set to work. He made a pretty girl.
"Aww you are a pretty girl... Beaut." I blew him a kiss.
"You're a monster," he growled.
"Heyy!" I protested.
"Okay! What's next?" Zayn asked.
"Ask us some more questions... Just for 15 minutes because I'm tired and Zayns going home," I said. He looked hurt, but probably knew I was joking!
"Sky have you ever met Zayns family?- no... I haven't! May do soon though!" I smiled.
"Zayn what attracts you to Sky?- everything," he said.
"Did you guys have an amazing time in The Bahamas?- it was wicked! Never had so much fun!" I laughed.
"Yeah it was amazing! We are really sad to be back in cold England." Zayn.
"Sky when are you coming home? We miss you in America!- well I have my uk tour in a few weeks... And thought I may as well stay here! I'm sorry, but the flight to LA is a bitch!" I laughed.
"Zayn, what are you and the boys up to?" We're just chillin... Have quite a long break now so yeah! Probably go to see Sky... All of us and maybe take my family on holiday? I don't know bout the others!" He smiled.
"Since when were you allowed to come to my show? Let alone the others!" I joked.
"Since Scott gave us VIP tickets! Yeah, you fans can be jealous! I'm not telling you which show tho... I guess I'll see you there!" He winked.
"Grr... You're so mean to me! Look, the public finally get to see how he treats me, the real Zayn Malik," I fake cried.
"Shut up... So anything else?" Zayn asked.
"Nope I'm done now! Goodbye people! Night if you are in England! What time is it in The States? Jeez I'm bad at this stuff. Anywho, I'll do another twitcam soon! Love you!" I said.
"Bye!" Zayn waved and turned the camera off.
"Well that was interesting!" I laughed.
"Sure! Now can I kiss you?" He asked. I nodded, biting my lip.
My phone buzzed in my lap, 1 new message.
Zayn❤- how would you like to come meet my family today? They really want to meet you!
Wow, I was surprised Zayn had asked me. Of course, I wanted to but I was nervous. Meeting his family was big, yet I think it's time.
I replied..
Yeah. That would be amazing! Do I need anything?
Zayn❤- Pack a night bag just in case, I'll pick you up at 11:30.
Me- okay, idk what to wear!!:O

I took a shower and dried my hair. It dried straight so I just left it. Then I decided on a mint green dress with my brown wedges

Next, I applied a small amount of makeup and got my bag ready. Bradford is quite along way away I think, so Zayn's probably just saying that incase it's dark and we are both tired, or drunk!
I was ready just in time and opened the door to Zayn. He looked amazing, and it was unusual to see him in shorts but hey ho I got to see his leg muscles. Very nice legs there Malik.
"Hello my beautiful," he smiled.
"God you're so cheesy," I laughed.
"But you love me," he replied.
"Of course," I smiled picking up my bag.
"All set?" He asked.
"Sure am!" I said and locked my apartment door. We got into the elevator along with a young teenage boy and his mum.
"Mum stop staring at them!" He hissed.
"If Sacha finds out I was in the same lift as them and didn't get an autograph she would kill me!" She replied.
"Ugh fine," the boy replied. Me and Zayn smirked at eachother.
"Sorry did you want an autograph?" Zayn asked kindly.
"Oh! That would be amazing, if you could do to Sacha!" She said happily. Me and Zayn both did one, well a couple for the woman. Then, the boy decided to join in the love and have a photo with me and Zayn together. So did the mum. It was quite hilarious really.
"Nice meeting you," I smiled as we got out.
"Yeah, our elevator ride was fun!" Zayn laughed.
"Goodbye! Thank you!" The woman laughed.
"I swear every time we get in that lift!" I laughed getting in the car.
Zayn nodded and started the engine.
"How longs the drive?" I asked.
"About 3 and a half hours, it's a killer I know!" He chuckled.
"Ahh well, it will be worth it!" I smiled.
"Sky do you mind if we book into a hotel tonight? I haven't seen them in ages and don't want to be rushing off tonight!" Zayn admitted.
"Oh that's fine, it will be fun!" I smiled, getting comfortable. It was gonna be a long 3 and a half hours... Especially because Zayn didn't like talking when he was driving. I don't even know.
"Sky, Skyyy, Skyyyy wake up!!!" Someone cooed. I tiredly opened my eyes and saw Zayn grinning evilly.
"What the hell are you doing you inconsiderate asshole?" I growled, only joking.
"Oh princess, welcome to Bradford. Where the boys are badder, girls are worser and everything sounds cooler," he advertised.
"I love it already," I said sarcastically, unbuckling my belt.
"Oh you wait princess, the best is yet to come!" He joked. He was only calling me 'princess' as a joke though so it's okay!
"Well Bradford Bad Boi, move out of my freakin way so I can stand up!" I laughed, then got out of the car. Zayn grabbed the bunch of flowers he got for his mum from the boot then we walked hand in hand to the front door. Before I had a chance to ring the doorbell, the door was swung open and Zayns mum appeared. She was beautiful. Truly beautiful. She engulfed Zayn in a huge hug, and then he handed over the flowers. She loved them, as any mum would.
"And you must be Skylar! It's a pleasure to finally meet you," she smiled pulling me into a hug.
"It's great to finally meet you Mrs Malik, you have a beautiful home," I smiled.
"Oh thank you! And call me Tricia! But it's a mess when you get inside!" She laughed and lead us inside. It was very warm, well, it is August! Zayn was attacked in hugs by his 3 sisters, Doniya, Waliyha and Safaa.
Doniya was only 1 year older than me, but Safaa and Waliyah were 8 and 10. The first to say hi to me was Doniya, who gave me a hug.
"It's amazing to meet you Skylar, Zayn doesn't shut up about you! He calls me all the time, and I just can't wait to show you all of our family pictures! He's gonna love it!" She giggled.
"I can't wait!" I laughed. Then, Waliyah came over and gave me a hug, she asked me for a picture but Tricia, Zayns mum, told her to stop pestering me.
"Honestly, it's fine!" I smiled and took a picture with her. She was very cute.

Then Safaa gave me a hug, and also had a picture. All of his sisters seemed really nice, especially Doniya. I loved how they were typical brothers and sisters, taking the mickey, and joking. I guess it was something I never really experienced.
Zayns dad was at the store buying food for the barbecue so I hadn't met him yet. Safaa gave me a guided tour of the house, and was proud to show me her pictures of her and all the famous people she had met from Zayn.

"I'll add yours into it too, when I print it off! All my friends are going to be so jealous I met you!" She giggled.
"Really? They must be jealous of your brother?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's the best brother in the world! What's he like with you?" She asked.
"He's really sweet, and very funny!" I smiled.
"I like you, you are the nicest girl Zayn's ever brought home!" She smiled.
"Ah thank you! Does Zayn bring many girls home?" I curiously asked.
"Not really. Well not since X-Factor!" She laughed.
After that we went downstairs and I met Zayn's dad. I was nervous when Zayn was talking to him as I came down with Safaa.
Zayn came over to me and smiled.
"Sorry if she's being annoying!" He chuckled.
"Haha she's not annoying!" I giggled.
"Try spending 8 years with her!" He replied. Zayn's dad came over and shook my hand.
"Lovely to meet you Mr Malik," I smiled.
"Thank you, it's great to meet the girl that makes my son so happy!" He chuckled. Like father, like son eh?
"Oh really? Well, he's great, I bet you are extremely proud of him?" I asked.
"Of course, my little boy, not so little anymore!" He smiled. Definitely not;)
"Stop it dad," Zayn sighed jokingly.
"Don't worry son, wait till Doniya gets the photo albums out!" He laughed.
Later in the evening, we had eaten and were sitting in the living room just talking. I was sitting inbetween Zayn and Doniya, who was beginning to show me pictures. Some of them were hilarious.
"So this was Zayn in the bath, this is him running around naked and this is him stuck up a tree!" She smiled. I started laughing, and Zayn hid his face in his hands.
"Sorry but can I just take some pictures of these? They are hilarious!" I laughed. Doniya nodded and I quickly snapped shots before Zayn could stop me. I'm sure Directioners would love to see these.
"Thankyou very much for having me, I had a great afternoon, and the food was delicious," I smiled, shaking his dads hand.
"That's fine, we would love to have you again," he replied. I have his mum a hug and thanked her then said bye to all his sisters. I had loads of pictures to keep as memories. Zayn said bye to his family and we set off to find a nearby hotel.
"They love you," Zayn smiled.
"Really? I really like them!" I smiled.
"Yeah, mum was telling me how sweet you were, I couldn't help but agree!" He said sheepishly. I genuinely liked Zayn's family. I never got to have that, and it was nice to have the thought of a motherly figure.
Zayn pulled up at the nearest hotel and booked us a room.
It was cool how the hotel was just a cheap travel lodge, rather than a fancy hotel.
"Sorry, it's the nearest one and you look really tired!" He said as we traveled up in the elevator.
"Plus it's unlikely fans will find us!" He winked.
"This is lovely. Just as long as there's a comfy bed and shower I'm fine!" I laughed, and we walked down to the room.
It was basic, but I liked it. It had a double bed-that was rather small-a small tv, kitchenette and bathroom. It was good to think that this was an experience of normal lives. I undid my sandals and went to my bag to get night clothes.
"Damn, " I cursed.
"What is it babe?" Zayn asked, concerned.
"Oh err- I forgot sleep stuff! So I'll just be in my bra and pants," I smirked. I honestly didn't mean to forget them.
"Well, I wouldn't want you to feel left out, but I sleep in underwear anyways," he chuckled.
"Oh really? That's really thoughtful of you Zayn," I smiled sarcastically.
"I do try," he laughed, getting under the duvet.
I joined him, and snuggled up on his chest. The room was pitch black, but everything was fine because Zayn was there. My head was resting on his chest, as he played with my hair. I could sense his heart beating against my chest, like a lullaby, sending me to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up to the familiar and gorgeous scent of Zayn. I was still laying on his chest, with his muscly arms wrapped around me. Once I'm awake, I can't stay still so I needed to get up. But I couldn't bring myself to wake Zayn. I gently untangled myself from his hold and eventually got up. Unfortunately, this woke him.
"Good morning," I said.
"You too," he mumbled, standing up. The first piece of clothing I found was Zayns t-shirt from yesterday so I put that on over my underwear. It was rather large, but smelt good. Heavenly.
"That's my top," he said.
"I know and you're never getting it back," I smirked. Now he was standing before me, within kissing distance.
"I don't want it back," he whispered, kissing me.
"It looks better on you anyway," he said and continued to kiss me.
10 minutes later, Zayn was making tea in the kitchen as I sat on the bed, not really doing anything. Suddenly, my ringtone sounded and i reached for my iPhone. It was Andrea, my publicist. It was strange to get a call from her, especially because she's in the US right now.
"Hi Andy, how are you?" I asked.
"Hello Sky, I'm fine, but I have something to talk to you about," she began.
"Okay..." I said.
"There's no easy way to tell you this but recently someone has been in touch with me," she said slowly.
"And?" I asked.
"He claims to be your father," I froze, and dropped my phone on the wooden floor, causing a bang. That can't be true. Zayn came rushing in, looking scared.

At the end of the day, drunk or sober, girls are still human. Girls, if you put a picture like that on Facebook, you WILL attract creepy assholes, its your own damn fault. You do drugs? Cool, so do 90% of teenagers. So stop telling everyone how awesome you are because you got sooo fucked up last night and can't even remember what you did. Honestly nobody cares but you. If everyone would just stop and realize that you're acting like a bunch of 'reality' tv stars, maybe we wouldn't be such a fucked up generation.
- No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
- Nelson Mandela - @tylerperry I think people need to stop vilifying Tyler Perry. His productions are fictionalized entertainment told from the viewpoint of his imagination. No one is being forced to view his movies or attend his plays and he surely didn't sign up to be the 'cinematic savior' of Black America. In one breath we applaud him for working hard and rising from his humble beginnings and in the very next breath we now want him to change the method he used to get where he is today. People need to leave him be and find somewhere else to get their required dose of Black consciousness and responsible programming. Or...they can always begin writing, producing, directing and starring in their own productions.
R&B Divas, Basketball Wives, Love and Hip-Hop, Real Housewives of Atlanta and a myriad of other 'reality' shows come on daily and on any given day portray us in the worst light possible, and yet, our people are tripping over themselves to get to the TV in time to watch them and give blow by blow commentary on Facebook and other social media. Where's the outrage there?
How about our music? Who's cued up in your stereos right now? Surely we're not all listening to Lionel Richie or Shirley Caesar. Who among us doesn't like a little Biggie, Fifty, Pac and whoever else is ruling the airways right now.

- Wow.....the year is almost over & my middle school journey is ending. Today I could not hold back my tears. I'm just going to miss my best friends so much! They're leaving either to another HS or another city & I just cant. I cant be strong. I'm weak and knowing I wont have them by my side is worst thing that I will ever have to experience. No words can explain in how much pain I am in, my heart was torn and broken into a trillion of pieces. I'm going to be stuck with people I hate and that will be the death of me. Im sure in these next 4 years, I will kill myself. This is going to be the hardest transition & change in my life EVER and I'm just not ready for it. The lawmaker Victor Ihunwo told correspondent Ruskin Amadi on telephone that the menace is as a result of the neglect of the state government due to the attention been paid to issued concerning the Nigeria Governors Forum election outcome.
The lawmaker Victor Ihunwo is therefore calling on the Rivers State governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to focus more on rendering services to people of Rivers State instead of issues about the Nigeria governor forum.
Meanwhile residents of Woji area of Obio/Akpor say floods are chasing them out of their homes.
One of the residents told our correspondent on telephone that they are scared following the signs of fresh rainfalls.

Jerry Needam also insisted that he remains an official of the ACN and that the last working committee meeting of the party attended by the National Treasurer and the party governorship candidate did not discuss suspension of members of the party.

- The court of appeal in Port Harcourt has granted leave to the four convicted principal officers of Ahoada East legislative assembly to appeal against their sentence by a Port Harcourt high court.
The four councilors were sentence to three months in prison with hard labour and an option of fine by Justice George Omereji for disobeying court order.
The lead justice of the appellate court Justice Ijembi Eko gave the councilors seven days leave to appeal against the conviction.
The legal representative of the councilors Ifedayo Adedipe told the court that the trial judge of the lower court denied knowledge of an appeal against the judgment and went ahead to pass the sentence against his client.
In his own submission, counsel to the impeached vice chairman of Ahoada East local government Agent Ihua-Maduenyi opposed the application for an appeal against the conviction of the councilors.
Correspondent Emeka Idika reports that the court of appeal adjourned till 11th of June 2013 to hear the appeal against the conviction of the four councilors of Ahoada East.

The commissioner for education, Rivers state Alice Lawrence Nemi stated this during inspection of ongoing school projects across the state.
Alice Lawrence Nemi said the state government would ensure the speedy completion of the schools before the commencement of next academic season.
The commissioner noted that the state government is doing its best to ensure that no child is left out in its free education policy.
