Then the black market took over. The black market devalued Venezuela's currency by 100 X. So if you went to Venezuela, paid American cash and did not use a credit card, which is pegged to the controlled system, a burger would cost you $1.70. Barter is probably ruling the day. It has to be, because the paper is WORTHLESS and government dictate has been rendered irrelevant.
