(When Glen Greenwald defended Brazilian President Dilma on his twitter feed, I retweeted with the comment "Shame on you for downplaying Dilma's corruption and spitting in the face of Brazilians who want change."
I actually applaud Greenwald's work on Ed Snowden's behalf and wish he would stop pandering to the corrupt and degenerate Brazilian Communist government..

Glen Greenwald has a Brazilian gay lover, and was practically adopted by the Left here as a hero. His role is to make people believe that Obama (hahaha) is against Dilma and that the US is an imperialist capitalist monster.

He writes often for what is called here the Sewage-Blogsphere, a group of websites and journalists which receive tons of money from the government to defend Dilma and the Party. In one of the recorded tapes of phone conversations, Lula was caught dictating the content of an article to the editor of a major leftist magazine, Carta Capital, which receives millions in advertising money from the government and state companies.
These criminals are under investigation now, because some of the money they got came straight from the bribes at Petrobras.
It is funny that when Wikileaks found out evidence of Lula getting bribes from Sweden so Brazil would buy their junk jet-fighters, Greenwald was completely silent.
Of course, the Party has always paid thousands of MAVs, the cyber terrorists who patrol comment sections in websites and create pro-government facebook pages. The most famous is "Dilma Bolada", from a guy who was receiving US$ 10K a month to write a stupid humor facebook page. They also fund things such as Mídia Ninja, a group of young marxist militants who pose as alternative-media producers. A famous comedians' Youtube channel, "Porta dos Fundos", has just received R$ 7,5 MM after posting a video attacking the Federal Police and their investigation against Lula. They have lost half their fans ever since.

The thing is backfiring, because everybody knows who they are and shuns them. Nevertheless, the money keeps flowing, and now more than ever, as they try to stop the impeachment process. Lula has established a HQ in a hotel in Brasilia and is offering positions in ministries, government offices and state companies for any Congressman who votes against the impeachment next 18th. Of course, this is a crime, but his judges at the Supreme Court are doing their job at slowing down the process the most they can.
Judge Moro has started yet another line of investigation, one that involves Lula in a murder against a Party mayor (Celso Daniel) who rebelled against the rampant corruption in his city. Eight people involved in the crime have been murdered so far, the family of the victim lives in France as refugees for safety reasons and everybody in Brazil knows Lula and the Party ordered the crime.
Basically, Greenwald must be enjoying his celebrity status and the privileges here in Brazil. Here he is someone special; in the US he would be one more common leftist.

Here we are in the middle of legal battles. The whole situation will be solved by the Supreme Court. Many of the judges were indicated by Lula and Dilma, but since Lula said in the bugged phone calls that the Supreme Court was in his pocket, these judges face the risk of destroying for good their reputations if they support a criminal that is as good as dead. No gratitude among criminals, with the exception of one of them, Teori Zawaczi, who postponed Lula's arrest at least until after Easter for a stupid technicality. Remember, in Brazil, politicians can only be judged by the Supreme Court.
Dilma is much like Hitler in his bunker, much more radical than usual, surrounded by heavy duty, fanatical marxist militants. People say she is losing her head and hooked on uppers and downers and she looks the part. Since Lula can't become a minister, she chose for her Chief of Staff the wife of MST's second in command. MST (Peasant's Landless Movement) is a terrorist group which invades farms, murders farmers and sets buildings on fire. Then they take the farm (much like what they do in South Africa), distribute the land among associates, who proceed to illegally sell it and move on to invade another farm. What kind of criminal invades a cattle farm, kills the pregnant cows and rip the fetuses apart from the womb? They have an urban mirror, MTST (Homeless Movement), where the leaders of the "homeless people" (regular people with a home who join in the hope of getting a new one for free) have brand new SUVs, as shown in the press. Their leader said they will set the country on fire.
Lula is talking nonsense and braggadocio in meetings among union people. These are the most criminal people you can imagine, the kind who kills adversaries. The strategy now is to demonize Judge Moro and say he is a puppet for the "right" to promote a Coup. It doesn't matter that every week, more and more evidence of Lula's crimes surface. People know it and we are all mad as hell.
The impeachment process is moving on and by all projections, Dilma is over in a month or two. There have been protests almost every day, and a big one is scheduled for next 14th.
Meanwhile, Brazil bleeds. Industry output fell 14% ! In 12 months, we had 2,9 million more unemployed people. Lula said in his last speech: "we can take care of the economy later, now we must fight the Coup." Easy for him to say , sitting on top of US$ 50 MM of stolen money. The day Lula is arrested, Brazil will have a party that will dwarf the World Cup title celebration.
