A BREAK FROM THE ACTION! 45°F 7:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. It's good to get a break today from all the rain and snow we've recently had. It looks like the very active storm track will remain to our south as a weakening low drifts offshore losing its grip on the moisture fetch, allowing High pressure to bring us some dry weather today. Expect today's daytime highs in the mid 50s and overnight lows in low 40s.

The storm that was intended to impact our weather on Wednesday will mostly miss us as the bulk of the moisture will pass to our south. We may still see some light rain, but it won't be much and won't be around long. A stronger storm looks to develop in the Pacific for us Thursday evening into Friday through at least Saturday as it taps into an atmospheric river. Snow levels look to start out above 5500ft with several feet at resort level. For us it means lots of rain, maybe 2-3" More on that soon.

The long range forecast looks to bring us an extended break from the storminess sometime next week. This is typical of December and I'm betting the rain ans snow returns the 3rd of the month.
