A chief of Boro community in Akuku Toru local government area of Rivers State Nath Kala-Ogbolo Ogbusukubo has alleged that some ex-militants invaded the community and took away useful materials from the community.

The chief who claimed to be the traditional ruler of Boro community told our correspondent that the ex-militants allegedly held the community under siege and carted away some traditional artifacts.

He called on the Rivers State police to investigate the alleged invasion of the community by the ex-militants.

In the meantime, another chief of Boro community Dumotein Koi Boro who is also laying claim to the stool of the community has denied report of invasion of the community by some ex-militants.

He said he and other chiefs were in the community for inspection of some projects in the area.

Dumotein Koi Boro said he is the one recognized by court as the paramount ruler of Boro community.
