A federal judge in San Francisco has issued a landmark ruling that may halt the search-and-destroy raids by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration on medical marijuana dispensaries. The judge ruled that federal law clearly prevents the Justice Department from spending taxpayer money to hunt and chase marijuana users in states that have established medical marijuana programs.
