"A house divided against it self cannot stand" a concept well known to Abraham Lincoln's hearers as a remark by Jesus Christ in the book of Matthew.
Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.Matthew 12:25
Now speaking to the body of CHRIST,If we are the body of Christ. We are all GODS Children. Why do we not love each other like we should? There are reported to be approximately 38000 Christian denominations in which all are praying to the same GOD but yet they treat their brethren different.
They don't support each others ministry, they pull down instead of uplift each other. When they are invited to support one another ministry they often wait it out to see how many else will be attending or just plain out ignore.
Ask your self was this what Jesus Christ REALLY wanted for us? For Jesus makes it clear for those in the body of CHRIST, "But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand".Matthew 7:26
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.John 13:34
In short, it is our prayer at Cmwell Family when reminded of LOVE this Valentines holiday that we truly love each other more.
