A suspect in the Dallas police shootings is still believed to be holed up inside a parking garage at El Centro College. There have been reports of flash bangs following a shootout with the suspect. Eleven officers and one civilian were shot as a protest against recent shootings of black men wrapped up around 9 p.m. CT. Four Dallas police officers and one Dallas Area Rapid Transit officer have died, officials said. Authorities have not identified suspects in the shootings, but a man who was originally named a person of interest has been released from custody, his lawyers said. Prior to the shootings, many reports say the protest had been peaceful, with participants preparing to leave.
