An update to the GMO popcorn that came into Mexico
America managed to ram rod GMO down Mexico's throat. And an obvious change took place practically overnight. ActII microwave popcorn changed overnight across what appears to be all types and flavors (three tested). It used to be light and fluffy, now it is super firm and dense, and not much fun to eat. The un popped kernels taste like poison, a weird chemical taste. Additionally, conventional popcorn in one pound bags also changed overnight, and is the same as what went into ActII all of a sudden, and even bagged popcorn you pop on the stove now has super dense and firm texture, poor flavor, and the un popped kernels taste like poison. SO, I went to Sams club, and checked to see if there was any of the old Schettino popcorn still around. Low and behold, it's own place was removed from Sams Club also and there were only a few bags thrown on top of a pallet of lentils. I bought a five pack of half kilogram bags to check to see if it was the old stuff, and after popping a batch it was the same as always. So that will be kept and not popped, 2 kilograms of corn seed is enough to do a lot with.

As far as I see it, popcorn is now wrecked. The new stuff that came in does indeed pop to nice looking large kernels, but they are not nice to eat, don't taste good anymore, and the chemical flavor in the un popped kernels is just too spooky. GAME OVER for popcorn!~
