British travellers to skip customs queues at U.S. airports under new passport scheme to encourage tourism and regular visitors - but only after a face-to-face interview

The UK is the latest country approved for the new 'Global Entry' system, which allows travellers seen as low-risk to register in advance and then pass through automatic kiosks to get into the States.
