TODAY'S FORECAST

CALM BEFORE THE STORM! 50°F 9:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. A beautiful dry day in between storms as a deep trough sets up offshore bringing several days of moderate to heavy rain at times. Enjoy the dry weather today as much of the coming week looks very wet. Today's highs may reach the mid 50s with overnight lows in the low 40s.

Rain arrives on Monday as two storms take aim at NorCal. Expect gusty winds, moderate to heavy rain at times and maybe up to 3" of rain and 3-4 feet of snow above 7000ft, with snow levels above 4500ft with the second storm on Tuesday. Rainfall totals may exceed 3" by Thursday as these spring storms tend to generate lots of instability showers and t'storms behind the cold front. Both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon look like the Sacramento Valley may see lots of exciting weather. Rain showers may continue through Friday morning as this persistent weather pattern remains in place. I'll keep updating as details become clearer.

The long range forecast is looking dry as we head into April, but rain chances keep popping up in the latest model runs, but I have very little confidence in the long range when it comes to rain in April. We will see. Have a crazy Sunday!
