Canada wild fires:
There are huge forest fires happening in Canada right now, but fires are not political so I skipped that topic. However, I will say this: If those fires happened in Mexico, Zero cars would have burned, and ZERO homes would have burned because: 1. People would have driven their cars to where the homes are, and 2. After doing that, the cars would be safe because 3. All the homes are concrete and brick, most of the ground space is finished in concrete and any trees are well watered and small. Fire stops at the fence, PERIOD.

In Canada and the U.S., people are not allowed to have real homes, so you can't seek refuge from a fire by getting into the house. In Canada and the U.S., the fire will simply burn the house because the houses are all, whether you want to accept it or not, forced to be built out of wood even if you spend months or years trying to negotiate the construction of a home that is not made of wood. Technically it is not illegal anywhere, but just try getting it done. You won't. There will always be one last detail you hit that stops you from building a home the police cannot just kick their way into, and cannot just be burned to the ground. I remember a propaganda piece done by public television "proving" concrete burned as well as wood, and that therefore it makes no difference if American homes are made out of wood, and there is no conspiracy there. And that is a load of B.S.

In Mexico, wild fires happen ALL THE TIME. And when they get to a Mexican home, they don't even blow the windows out, NOTHING HAPPENS AT ALL. Even standalone homes with no protection around them won't be damaged by a fire. And homes in a city? FORGET IT, people will still be selling tacos in the streets as a massive fire rages within eyeshot, because there will never be a threat at all. Real homes and real infrastructure laughs at a wild fire, even the worst wild fire means nothing at all.

So be glad you live in Canada, and the U.S., where things are SO MUCH BETTER THAN MEXICO!
