Deaf students need a Deaf superintendent under PSB because they share the same culture and language (ASL) that will inspire Deaf students to make passions and bright goals for their future life. It is important for Deaf students to have a Deaf leadership role. There are qualified deaf candidates in Ontario and Canada for the role of superintendent, why can't PSB hire one of them? "Because it's 2015!"
I actually feel sorry for people in PSB who hired a non-Deaf superintendent, because of their fear of Deaf having capabilities.
