Deep recession confirmed by surplus of heavy trucks
Just like the Baltic index, which clearly shows there is little shipping going on, the sale of class 8 trucks (which includes semi trucks and super heavy duty dump trucks) is down by 37 percent this year, and for the past month has been down by 49 percent. If no one is working, they don't need any new trucks, do they? This is a key indicator of what is really going on.
