Max's POV
Okay, let's go and finish training the rookie. I walked into the lab he looked surprised to see me. "Who are you?" He asked.
"I'm Max George. I'll be completing your training." I replied.
"Where's Katie?" He asked sounding slightly disappointed.
"She's gone home. She was feeling ill." I said. "Right. Moving on to the Arachnids." I said. He nodded and followed me into the `Spider House`. He didn't seem that bad.
He worked well with the spiders, and acording to Katie's report he worked good with the snakes and lizards too. So what was the problem then? He must of done something to piss her off. Hmm god know's but at least his training was finished.
"Thanks." Tom said.
"What for?" I aksed.
"For training me. And if you see Katie will you tell I said thanks." He said dropping his head.
"Yeah sure." I said. I'd tell Katie when she came back into work. Well, I had nothing else to do now. I think i'll call Andrea. I hope she accepts the offer of dinner.
Andrea's POV
`Max Calling` I smiled as I picked my phone up. "Hey." I said, feeling a smile spread across my face. I loved getting an unexpected call from Max.
"Hey, urrm, I was wondering if you'd like to go out for dinner tonight?" He asked. Oh my god! Max was asking me out!! Well kind of, but still... Ahhhh! Calm Andrea calm.
"Yeah, i'd love to." I said smiling into the phone like a fool.
"Great! I'll pick you at 6!" He said sounding extremely happy.
"Okay see you then." I said. The call ended and I nearly jumped up and down in excitement! I couldn't believe it! I'd had a thing for Max since i'd first met him. He was really nice. I'd bumped into him in Manchester one weekend. He works in London during the weekdays then heads back up to Manchester to stay with his mum on weekends. And I was lucky enough to meet him. And he had a final audition next week for a band. I really hoped he got it. I haven't heard him sing, but i'm sure he's great. Ahhh! I can't believe it!
Nathan's POV
I sat on the sofa watching telly by myself. I think Katie must of fallen asleep. Which is a good thing. Bless her. By the sounds of it, she hadn't had a very good day. The phone rang. "Hello?"
"Oh hello Nathan, sorry to bother you, is Katie there?" It was Mollie.
"Naa, sorry Mollie she's sleeping. She had a rough day at work." I replied.
"Ah I see okay then. No problem. I'll call back later." Mollie said. "Bye Nathan."
"Bye Mollie." Mollie was Katie's best friend but they hadn't seen a lot of each other recently due to Katie always being at work. She loved her job. A bit too much at times I think. I sighed and sat back down on the sofa and my mind wandered to the final audition next week.
