“FEEL IT, DON´T THINK IT”

Today… I don´t and will not think in Valentine´s day.
Why?... Because this is not what I like about it:
People buying stuff, stressing themselves, getting nervous…
That for me, is just a waste of time, a day where people forget
what they were supposed to do that day instead of all that.
They forget to do the most important stuff, just because of this day.
Only for that in the end, either they find love or end up sad,
for the rest of the month.

I repeat, I don´t and will not think in Valentine´s day…
… because I feel Valentine’s day… in my heart.
Most people forgot the true meaning of Valentine´s day.
They can´t see it, unless they feel it first.
It´s not some logical question, but a passionate moment.
Love does not comes from the mind… but from the heart.

And as far as I know… I had felt love once.
A love like no other, a love that made half of my life
the best of all.
Thanks to that person, I discovered great happiness.
That there will be a light in the sky, even when it´s cloudy.
That when I fall, she will be there to help me get up.
That she knows how to paint a smile, without a paintbrush.

Of course, I´ll miss those moments…
Where we share thoughts, smiles, and laughs.
Where we looked upon the sky, together holding hands.
Where it was a pleasure to tell to her all my feelings,
And to listen hers, with her beautiful voice.
… Moments that stayed in the past, yet
I shall never forget, because they made the man
that I am today, someone who rather go and buy
beautiful flowers, a nice letter where part of my true
feelings are told to her, and tell her the 3 most important words
that I would only share with that special one…
… I love you…

As you can see, Valentine´s day is not about
who gets the most expensive present.
Or who gets the biggest stuff or exotic.
Valentine´s day, is all about making that day
a very special one, to share your inner sensations
for that special one, and to make that moment
unforgettable.

I never think in love, ´cause I feel love.
Thanks to the ones surrounding me,
but most important, for that special one.

Even when we are not together anymore,
I will always be there for you...
to at least make you smile.
