Following a 45-minute discussion between Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Police Chief George Turner and Black Lives Matter activists, Mayor Reed announced that all parties will meet again on July 18 to discuss possible resolutions regarding the activists' demands. Reed said 'both sides need to show respect. We need a cooling off period.' One Black Lives Matter leader said that tonight's talk 'is a win.'
