Join the Honors Program for "BANNED," its third annual celebration of Banned Books Week, 30 September, 7:00- 8:30 pm on the Riverside Campus (RM 8100). The event showcases ACC faculty and staff reading banned works and banned authors to explore the dangers and harm of censorship in American society. In past years we've shared works from the Classics of HUCK FINN and LOLITA to the more Modern works of JESUS' SON and HARRY POTTER, from CINDERELLA and A WRINKLE IN TIME to HANDMAID'S TALE and THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. Come hear whose works we'll share this year, and CELEBRATE YOUR FREEDOM TO READ! (Light refreshment provided.)
