Forgetful Orange County cop leaves rifle with ammunition on trunk of his car and then drives off after getting 'distracted'

The Orange County officer, assigned to the Aliso Viejo station, lost his loaded AR-15 patrol rifle when he got 'distracted' while preparing for his shift shortly before 7pm on Tuesday.
