French Bomb Raqqa Command Post (Why Didn't We Do It First?)
RUSH: Did you hear the news yesterday that the French had destroyed an ISIS command post in Raqqa, in Syria? (interruption) Yeah, I heard that. We mentioned it here yesterday. A lot of people say, "Hey, go! Go, frogs! The frogs went in there and they totally decimated that command post in Raqqa. Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Except nobody asked a very important question. The US has been bombing ISIS targets for a year. Why was the command post still there to be bombed? (interruption) No, no. Seriously, folks. I'm asking seriously. (interruption)
We are the United States of America. We have more bombs. We have bigger bombs. We just... I mean, we're bomb central. We can hit targets the size of a thumbnail from miles away. Why was that command post still there? We've been bombing ISIS targets for a year. It goes to the answer to the question everybody had yesterday: Why isn't Obama ripping into ISIS in this speech, his press conference yesterday? What explains it? Why are we so pussy-footing here around with ISIS? http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/16/middleeast/france-raqqa-airstrikes-on-isis/
