I am sorry for tweeting the same info about KSD, but it is an important fundraiser for them.
I realize that it is last minute, but I was wondering if you would be able to donate anything that could be auctioned off at the Fundraiser. It is the Pancake and Sausage Day Fundraiser on 02/03/2012 at Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, KY. They are also accepting donations via check or money order payable to "KSD Pancake Day" It can be mailed to KSD C/O Rhonda Bodner 303 South Second Street Danville, KY 40423
I think everyone should know by now about the Pancake Sausage Day at Kentucky School for the Deaf in Grow Hall Cafeteria…. Admission is $5.00 per person. The individuals on our committee have been working very hard to make this event a special Homecoming Event/Fundraiser. Now we ask all of you to go out of your way (as you always do) to make it a 100% success!!!! We are asking for anyone that has any gift cards or anything that could be auctioned off at the school.
Starting at 6:30 am we will be serving Breakfast at Grow Hall and will continue to serve throughout the morning and lunch. During this time we will conduct the Silent Auction and the Booths will be open for viewing. At 1:30 pm we begin the Live Auction for ALL to enjoy! The Live Auction will be conducted by CENTURY 21 Wilson Realty & Auction Co. Betsy Wilson, Owner and Tony Wilson, Auctioneer, our very own Angie Crawford & Dawn Calbert as Interpreters and I will be taking bids.
The more people from our community we can get here the better!! Please remember to invite your church members, friends, family and anyone you can think of.
Our raffle tickets are a bargain for what you can win! Rhonda has worked hard at collecting the Raffle Items, including: $150.00, $100.00, $50.00, T.V., Kindell Fire, Tool Box with tools are just to mention a few!
We are asking all departments to please let any of us on the committee know if you will create a Theme Basket…..Theme Baskets are popular and will be great! Time is getting close and we would appreciate being aware of what kind of Theme Baskets are going to be available. If anyone would like to contribute an item for “UK or UofL basket” please send to Barbie Harris and she will fix basket. We know Brady Hall is doing “Horse Basket” & “Valentine Basket”, KSD Cafeteria Staff are doing a “Kitchen Basket”, Walker Hall has a “Rest and Relaxation Basket”, a “Baby Basket”, 1 Surprise Basket Specially Designed for “One of Our Own” (You will know when you see… ) & 2 other Baskets …..what others are out there?
Our Committee will be collecting the items that have been donated and decorations for decorating Grow Hall (which will be a Valentine Theme). If you have any interest in helping out in these last few days it would be greatly appreciated by all!! We have classes distributing flyers and making decorations to help, we have put the information in the Danville Boyle County Chamber News Letter, The Heart of Danville News Letter. JoAnn is working on a News Paper Article in addition to the advertising in the Advocate Messenger. We have the banner up and we are really trying to spread the news on Facebook (If you would post the information on your FB page that would be awesome!)
Please remember that this is an opportunity for our Community to be here and see what KSD is all about…..it is a chance for us to shine like our kids do every day! Please put selling, inviting and volunteering at the top of your priority list over the next several days ! We have lots of exciting donations (we will send out a partial list soon) for the Silent and Live auctions and we need to make sure our buyers are here to spend money…. !
THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT IS MAKING THIS POSSIBLE…WE ARE SURROUNDED BY AWESOME PEOPLE AND AWESOME KIDS AT KSD!!!!

It would be amazing if you would be able to contribute to Kentucky School for the Deaf Charitable Foundation. They are a non-profit charity that assists students that attend Kentucky School for the Deaf. Donations of any value are very much appreciated.
