HELP! I'm not sure if the wording is right. Thoughts? Opinions? Please share! #amwriting #amediting #writers #novel #currentWIP
Here's the excerpt in question from my #WIP -
"So what the hell was this, Faith?! What were we doing all summer?!"
"I don't know!”
"What happened to college?! I thought you were going to community until you figured out what you wanted to do; what happened to that?!"
My eyes were burning. I could feel the tears coming. "I don’t know what I want to do! Don’t you get that!”
"So, what, you just pack your crap and leave?!"
Alex picked up my duffel bag and threw it across the room, the collision breaking the blue lava lamp on my desk. I jumped when the sound of glass shattering to a million pieces struck my heart.
