Hillary Clinton's campaign has released excerpts from her Democratic National Convention speech, in which she's expected to accept her party's nomination for president. Aides say Clinton's speech, which closes out the Democratic convention tonight, will be a rebuttal to how Republicans characterized Clinton at last week's RNC, according to the New York Times. She's expected to address the threats America faces at home and abroad, and she's expected to assure voters their country can "rise to the challenge, just as we always have." Clinton will also say that her "primary mission" as president will be to create good, well-paying jobs at home. Campaign chair John Podesta told the Times that tonight's speech is "in her voice" and Clinton's "most personal moment on the campaign." Chelsea Clinton is expected to introduce her mother to the crowd at 10 p.m., with Hillary taking the stage shortly after.
