I have been accused of Spam but truth is I type very fast and can go through a lot of material as a result of my excellent training as an old time copy editor at the Austin American-Statesman and The Dallas Morning News thanks to my wonderful bosses Bill Warren and Charles Adler--- two absolutely amazing men to whom I owe so much,especially the ability to cut through the bullsh*t. As well as my newspapering,tempetuous grandfather and a really old-time newspaper guy from the 1920-1930s, Roy Short. I am blessed that I took time to listen to an old man's memories when I was growing up in New Orleans.
