I have consecrated this Temple which you have built to place My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart shall be there at all times.

King Solomon built the first Temple in Jerusalem, without "hammers, chisels or any iron instruments" (I Kings 6:7), so that no instruments of war would be used and peace would be built into its very foundation. It symbolized complete peace between man and God and between all the nations of the world. Today the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation is on a mission to restore King Solomon's vision of universal peace and worship on the holiest site in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount.
