I woke up as I usually do. Alarm clock goes off, shut it off, my mum comes and yells at me, I throw a pillow at her, and then finally wake up. This is my daily wake up routine. It’s quite funny at certain times if you think about it. I just remembered I was supposed to text my friend Jessica this morning. I ran to find my phone and texted her a quick “WAKE UP GIRL!”

I got myself together and got serious. Today is an important day. It’s my last day of testing, and then it will finally be summer break. I’ve been waiting for today for one hundred and eighty days! My stomach started getting butterflies thinking of all the amazing things I will be able to do in the summer. Anyways, I better get ready before I’m late for school. I walked into my bathroom and turned on my shower. I let the water run for a while. Then, I finally got in. I take quick showers in the morning, unlike on weekends when I take an hour shower. Hehe.

I grabbed my phone and keys and headed outside. I sighed and said “Bye mum. See you later!” But, she didn’t answer me. Oh well, maybe she’s sleeping again. I grabbed an apple and headed to my car. http://weheartit.com/entry/15476621 Yeah, that’s my car, haha! Be jealous. No I’m just kidding; I worked really hard to get that car. It took me a few years to earn enough money. I got in my car and drove to Jessica’s house. I honked my horn, and then she came running outside.

“Hey Maddi,” Jessica sang. I just laughed at her hyper-ness in the morning.

“Hi Jess” I said sticking my tongue out at her. “Why are you so hyper?” I questioned her.
“Well……” She trailed off looking to the side. “I two reasons. It’s the last day of school!”
“The second reason would be?” I asked laughing.
“I had a monster energy drink…” She smiled.
“Oh lord. I feel bad for anyone who goes near you, especially me.” I laughed. Jessica just gave me a smack on the arm.
“Hey, driving here!” I mumbled.

So, we finally got to school. Everyone was dressing to impress since it was the last time they would be seen for a few months. I guess they wanted to be remembered a certain way. You know what I mean, “slutty”, “smart”, “preppy”, etc. And no, I am NOT giving labels. Anyway, here comes the school’s player.

“Hey Mads.” He said flirtatiously and gave me a wink.
“What do you want Colby?” Jessica spat out. He just looked both of us up and down. Pig much?
“Her” He smirked and pointed to me.
“Hah! Well excuse you. I’m not some easy plastic Barbie. Go find some slut to talk too.” I said quite annoyed. He knows I hate him, ever since the fourth grade. That’s when it all started…

~Flashback~
“Hey Madison,” Colby smiled.
“Hey C. What’s up?”
“Talking to you,” He teased.
“Haha. I would have never guessed that.” I said sarcastically.
“Yup…”
“Yeah… Sooo,” I awkwardly muttered. All of a sudden he faced me completely and started to lean in. I had no idea what he was doing. He got closer and closer. Then my flashback ended..

“Mads.. MADS!” Jessica exclaimed right into my ear.
“Huh?” I spoke.
“What are you thinking about?” She asked worried.
“Oh nothing” I put on a fake smile. “It’s really nothing.” She just nodded confused.
