~ Love Will Be Iconic ~
{Chapter 6}
-Katie's POV
I sat in my bed for maybe 3 hours thinking. Just thinking. Thinking about him. & Only him.
-The Next Day-
-Katie's POV
I woke up at a bright and early 7:30 and walked downstairs to find myself home alone, again. My sister really doesnt give a shit about me , never bothers to leave a note , tell me where shes going , if shes coming home. Sometimes i think to myself , just because we have the same last name doesnt mean we're ture sisters. I think it might be to harsh to think that way sometimes but she just gets to me. I looked at my phone and had 3 new messages. One from my best friend Rachel telling me i left my shirt there last week. One from Vinny.. Correction , two from Vinny. I hesitated to open them but my curiousity got the best of me. "Hey , our practice starts at 8am , i hope you can be there , grab a smoothie after? i promise i wont spill it on you(;" i smiled and looked at the time '7:45'. I leaped out of the kitchen and ran upstairs basically tripping over myself every other step again. I ran into the bathroom and turned on my straightener. While waiting i ran into my room and hooked up my ipod to the doc and sang to 'Sky full of lighters' by Bruno Mars. I basically tore up my closet searching for sweats and a top. I finally found my dark blue sweats and my white t-shirt that had 'Hollister' written down the side in dark blue letters. I quickly changed , touched up my hair , put a light coat of black eyeliner on , my blue knight vlados , and i was out the door with my cell phone in my hand. Didnt even bother to look at myself , becuase i thought , if they didnt like what they see , then forget them.
-Mikey's POV
I read the clock '8:08'. I was already at ICON waiting for the other guys to show up. I was dreading seeing Vinny. I knew we had to talk but i wasnt sure when we were going to. I watched Nick , Madison , Jullian , Chris , Jason , Louis , Thomas , and the others walking in setting their stuff down and then they started to fool around. Typical. I went to go talk to Nick when i saw Katie walk through the door. She actually came. I felt myself smile but remembered i kissed this girl last night. She ran away. Vinny caught us. I got kicked out of Vinnys house. Shes here. I watched her set her bag down and start to walk over to me. I felt like i was going to piss myself i was so excited but scared about what she was going to say. "Hey" she said smiling and hugging me. A hug? Maybe she's the type of girl who doesnt keep a grudge. "Hey Cutie" i said smirking and winking. She lifted an eyebrow at me and i stoped smiling. Damn.
-Vinny's POV
I walked in and saw Mikey and Katie talking. Who the hell does he think he is? He just kissed her last night right after i did, you would think he would care about his best friend. I walked up to them "Well well , lookie her , we got a couple" i said in a angry voice. Katie looked at me with hurt eyes. "Katie , can we talk? Alone?" i asked feeling like a total jerk. She nodded and we went into the corner.
"Im sorry about that comment." i said
"Its fine i guess." she said looking down.
I lifted her head and looked into her eyes , "Forgive me?"
She smiled and punched my arm playfully while replying "Fine. But dont be mad at Mikey , everyone has feelings , and he expressed them in a different way. He's really sorry."
I looked at her and said "I'll forgive him." After we smiled at each other i took her hand and lead her over to where we dance.
"This may be alot to ask but can you show us what you've got?" i said looking at her face suddenly get red and worried.
"You'll do great" i heard Mikey say. I was temped to go other there and tape his mouth shut but i didnt want to stop Katie from doing what she loved to do , dance.
We watched her movements. So clean. Percise. Amazing. She must have been the best dancer i watched. This girl was just perfect.
She hugged everyone , ours may have lasted a little longer then expected but i had no problem with that. We all took a break and talked. Mikey , Nick , Jason , Louis , Madison , Thomas , and myself went over and talked to Katie. Her phone started going off and she excused herself. Such a kind person.
I heard her scream "WHAT?!" and then i saw tears. She dropped her phone and ran out the doors. We all ran after her like the place was on fire. What the hell was wrong?
