@MOD_Magazine Dear MOD: I had stumbled upon your magazine once or twice in our school library. In this sense, I would like to share my unsolicited opinion about your magazine. MOD Magazine has bad paper quality. It's not like other glossy magazines like Cosmopolitan and MEGA. They’re thick, glossy and smooth. Another is that the Magazine size is smaller than the others. What’s up with that? And most importantly, the LAYOUT is SUPER BAD!!! I see magazines for homework made by fellow students more professional looking than yours! I mean, like, it’s soo ugly. It’s boring. It has one boring font. No designs, no spice. Next, I would like to ask why does your magazine bear irrelevant advertisements? I saw once that it advertises a photo studio (Great Image). It was soo out of place. I would understand if it advertise a fashion photo studio, but great image? A studio which offer services for id pics/pass ports??!!! Which brings me to this topic: For whom is MOD? What/who does it serve? Is it a newspaper? Is it a teen mag? Is is a fashion mag? Is it a parenting mag? Or a Fashion mag? I think MOD magazine have no clear idea regarding what type of magazine they want to become. In our advertising class, I learned that “being everything to everyone is a sure way for disaster” Which really is true for MOD. It is packed with some irrelevant things. There’s national news, bulong pulungan stuff, kitchen, parenting, teen section, and little fashion.
I strongly suggest to stick with fashion, or stick solely to something. If it’s news, then it’s all news. If it’s parenting, all parenting. If it’s fashion, all fashion and beauty. GETS? =)
