@MounazAR No, think about it this way, artists never explain what their pieces are really about. Same should apply for songs with great bands sometimes you don't even know the story behind the songs and some artists have songs with extremely abstract lyrics and when it reaches a point where you can't even make up the words so you hear words the way you want, that's art. I guess it's like an open ending in a story depends if you like those or not I, for one, prefer them. The National never publish their lyrics and sometimes Matt is so drunk and crying you can't even make up the words. In one of the songs, some people post the words “red southern souls” others think it’s “excellent souls”, but everyone relates to it the way they want to. Another song (“Conversation 16”) might be a love song for some but to others it’s a sorrowful miserable song. Don’t you think that’s artistic? It’s definitely better than the high-pitched voices with clear lines like “when a heart breaks no it don’t break even”. Either way at the end, good music is personal to each and every listener.
