Muslim That MSNBC and CAIR Demanded Be Taken off the No-Fly List, Arrested For Belonging to ISIS
RUSH: "A man, who just two years ago was the poster boy for the far-Left media's attacks against the US government's no-fly list for 'unfairly' targeting Muslims, finds himself and several family members sitting in a Turkish prison -- arrested earlier this month near the Turkey-Syria border as members of an ISIS cell." This guy's name is Saadiq Long and his case was being championed by a whole bunch of people at MSNBC. Let me tell you what this is about. Saadiq Long is a US Muslim who is an Air Force veteran. He was put on the US no-fly list back in 2013. Being on the no-fly list kept him from returning home to the United States after he left to go visit Qatar.
That outraged CAIR and many in the Drive-By Media, including MSNBC. The Drive-By Media used Saadiq Long's case to rail against the injustice of the no-fly zone. Thanks to CAIR, Saadiq Long was removed from the no-fly list and was able to return home. And now he's been arrested by Turkish officials on the Turkey-Syrian border for belonging to an ISIS cell. So far nobody in the Drive-By Media has reported his arrest. I wonder why.
So again, we have a US Muslim who is an Air Force veteran -- the bottom line is this guy's an ISIS member. He was put on the US no-fly list back in 2013 because he was suspected of being tied to terrorists. He visits Qatar. He wants to come back to the United States, the no-fly list prevents him from doing so. CAIR and MSNBC and the media wail and moan and whine about how unfair, so he's removed. The pressure from the media got him removed from the no-fly list and he was able to return home. But he's been arrested in Turkey as a member of ISIS. He should have been on the no-fly list. He was tied to terrorism and has been arrested, but Drive-By Media pressure and MSNBC made sure that his name was taken off the list, thereby placing the country at risk.
