No protection needed by Pope in Mexico!
Here is something that will not be allowed in headlines and news reports: The pope mobile in Mexico drove 22 KM through Mexico City, cheering crowds and all, and the Pope rode with only a rain shield above him, the sides and back of the pope mobile were completely and totally OPEN. And I mean OPEN, from the ground to two feet above his head. You could see him go by from his shoes to his hat and he waved the whole way, often reaching out over the road with his right arm.
Two comments: Good for him, and if Mexico is so dangerous, how could that have ever happened?
