Over one hundred and ten thousand youths from eight communities in Bayelsa State have renounced their membership from cultism and accepted the amnesty offered by the state government. Bayelsa State governor Henry Seriake Dickson stated this at a forum with representatives of Youth Groups in Yenagoa. Governor Dickson said willingness of the youths to jettison cultism was one of the achievements of the restoration agenda of his administration.
