PUBLIC ADVISORY | Davao Light announces 15-minute scheduled power interruptions on April 10 and 13. Details here:





Davao Light and Power Co. will conduct 15-minute power interruptions on April 10 and 13 affecting customers connected to its Panacan, Buhangin, Ecoland, Matina and Bangkal feeder lines.

These outages will be necessary to facilitate the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines' upgrading works on its Davao Substation.

To keep the power interruptions within the least possible time, loads connected to the Davao Line will be transferred to ERA line on April 10, Friday, for 15-minutes only between 12:00 a.m. to 01:00 a.m..

Customers affected by this are those along McArthur Highway from Matina Town Square up to Ulas Police Station which includes the entire areas of Matina, Catalunan Grande and Bangkal.

Normalization or return of loads back to its normal set up will implemented in two schedules on April 13, Monday.

The first 15-minute service disruption will be anytime between 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.. This affects the entire areas of Ecoland, Matina, Catalunan Grande and Bangkal including areas of Magtuod, Langub and Maa.

Meanwhile, the second 15-minute power outage will be implemented anytime between 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.. Particular customers affected are those along diversion road from Dumanlas Buhangin going to crossing Panacan up to Holcim in Ilang. This includes areas of Sasa and Panacan proper.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience of these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
