A 23-year-old man who allegedly waited by his former boss' car in a Glendale In-N-Out parking lot while armed with a pair of handguns faces attempted murder and other charges in a case that may have included more than one target, sources told NBC News Investigations on Wednesday. Eric Bloss was arrested after a witness reported seeing him tampering with the car about 2 a.m. Monday, sources said. Investigators later discovered that Bloss had poured sugar into the gas tank to disable the vehicle.
Eric Bloss, 23, had two loaded pistols on him on Wednesday when police showed up and found him waiting in the parking lot in Glendale in Los Angeles County, according to authorities.
