Respected sir,
I would like to make a suggestion regarding regular upkeep and maintainence of Gurgaon infrastructure. Gurgaon has I would say rightly been named Gram ... Cause it is just that .... Sanitation poor, transport poor, roads very very poor.
Sir since all the big international companies are in Gurgaon - why can't we force these international companies like Dell, American Express, Cairn Energy, HSBC etc to take up a small amount of charity towards building up Gurgaon - I mean really building it up. Not the unplanned concrete jungle it has become.
For one, if each of these international companies is asked to adopt a small portion/area of Gurgaon and it is asked to take care of roads and sanitation and traffic lights in that particular area ... Would it not save the govt. crore of rupees as well as sort of force privatize the clean and green growth of Gurgaon?
For example, if Dell adopts say Sohna Road maybe two sectors only and is asked to take care of all the roads, sanitation and green zones in these sectors
Cairn Energy adopts golf course extension road
Some other company takes care of another two sectors

Would it not help fasten the growth at no additional cost to the govt. as well as no increase in taxes for the civilians

Sir my such thoughts are a product of the sorry state Gurgaon is in especially since all governments till now have only used it as a siphon to make money through Gurgaon and use it for growth of other areas of Haryana and Delhi
But Gurgaon, sir can not always be a bottomless money pit. It will in time get exhausted ...
