@RogerLynch I am sorry to say that I had a whole day spent behind your terrible customer service leading me to cancel my 5+ year account. This has been a long story but here is a summary. I called in the morning to ask for renewal options for an international package which I was prepaying 4 months at a time. The lady I spoke to told me that she "needed" to cancel my international package and I had no renewal options. Not convinced I called again and this time I learnt that she had also cancelled the best of live programming along with the international package and there were other billing issues introduced. I had already prepaid for my best of live programming with a different billing cycle which I would have to forego. I asked to talk to a supervisor and after some going back and forth I was told that this would be sorted out and a supervisor would call me later. 7-8 hours go by, so I called again asking to talk to a supervisor. This time the agent told me that the account was completely messed up, he could not understand head or tail what was happening, but that everything will automatically and eventually sort out by itself and that I should trust him completely. After asking for a supervisor at least 5 times, I could not reach one.
Needless to state I asked for a prorated refund and cancellation of all programming. Many years back I left Dish TV because of extremely poor customer service issues and find it amazing that the same customer service levels have penetrated into the sister organization.
