TODAY'S FORECAST

SHOWERS ENDING! 44°F 11:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Well that storm over performed as a strong westerly flow kept a cold front offshore longer than expected. We almost tripled our rainfall estimates, receiving almost 1.5" of rain in town. Snow fell above 4000ft bringing a dusting to the upper foothills. We may see a few showers today, but overall dry weather is expected by this evening. Today's temps may reach the low 50s with overnight lows in the mid 30s.

Sunday looks mostly sunny and dry, but rain is the forecast for Monday as an Atmospheric River is set slam NorCal one last time this month and perhaps this rainy season as global weather patterns shift quickly into spring mode. This coming stormy wet weather pattern won't be anywhere near as strong as the storms we saw last month, but expect gusty winds, moderate to heavy rain at times and maybe up 2" of rain and 3 feet of snow above 5000ft. Timing is not certain due to the unpredictability of these type of storm, but be prepared for rain through Thursday morning. I'll keep updating as details become clearer.

The long range forecast looks wet through the middle of next week, but April now looks to start out dry with a significant warming period. Rain has been tossed from the long range forecast as I have little confidence in these ever changing spring patterns. Have a super Saturday!
