Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban accused billionaire hedge fund investor George Soros of leading a circle of "activists" trying to undermine Europe by supporting refugees heading to the continent from the Middle East. "These activists inadvertently become part of this international human-smuggling network," he said. Soros, who was born in Hungary, said in an email that his foundation helps "uphold European values" while Orban's actions "undermine those values."
