Swedish and Danish banks have developed a digital-payment app for smart phones with the expectation that Sweden will be the first nation to go cashless. Many banks in Sweden already are totally digital and refuse cash. Not only will all financial transaction be recorded and tracked, but customers will be required to explain where they obtained cash or coins when the time comes to turn them in.
