Kiss your freedoms goodbye, America; My thoughts on tonight's vote for H/C in Congress

FROM: Your Constituent: MEGAN CROMWELL

You have consistently shown your disdain for those of us back here in the district. Your vote today put me and millions of other Americans at risk. You voted for government take-over of health-care. You and your disgusting cohorts in the Congress had no right to do this. You have no respect for the limits that the Constitution places on you. You have no respect for our wishes. We have called. We have emailed. We have visited your office. We have faxed. We have written letters. WE HAVE DEMANDED YOU LISTEN TO US! And still, you do not listen.

In addition to your lack of listening skills, apparently your reading skills need remedial help as well. There is no POSSIBLE way you could have read, digested, understood, and analyzed 1,990 pages of legal speak. I go to school to read law code, and I could not have got through it in the few days it was out. And I know you don’t write the laws; you just vote the way Nancy tells you to.

You have been on the welfare teat far too long in Congress. There has been no difference, going from welfare to congress, because the tax-payers are STILL paying your wages. Now, you pretend to represent us, when you know full well you’re simply looking out for yourself.

You were warned, OVER and OVER this year; if you continue to ignore us, if you continue to kowtow to Nancy Pelosi instead of listening to US, YOUR EMPLOYERS, the people you are supposed to represent, that we would FIRE you in 2010. Be prepared, Lynn, because you have just enraged the electorate back here in Sonoma and Marin counties. We are FURIOUS, and we have the grassroots movement to take you down.

You are gone in 2010. Better brush up the resume, because you’re about to be unemployed like the rest of us. I have put up with your games long enough, and I’m not going to take it any longer! I am doing everything in my power to campaign against you.
