The AP originally reported actor Gene Wilder died earlier this month in in Stamford, Conn., but has since updated that he died late Sunday, according to his nephew. The comedy star was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 1989 and died of complications from Alzheimer's disease. Wilder was nominated for an Oscar for his role in "The Producers" and later for co-writing "Young Frankenstein" with Mel Brooks, Variety reports.
