The Rose Part 60

My POV
Woo! They were letting me out of hospital today, and then tonight we were all gonna have a party at Nathan's flat. I sat on the edge of the bed packing my things up, Tom was helping. "You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, i'm just glad you and Max are okay." He replied. I smiled at him weakly. The past 4 weeks had been tough on Tom, and all the boys. It was still gonna be hard, but maybe this party would help everyone. I packed my clothes in my bag. Tom was handing me pieces from the beside cupboard. He laughed. I looked and saw him holding my underwear. I fel myself blush. "Tom give them here." I said. I saw a cheeky look in his eye so I through a pillow at him.
"Ahh! Okay babe! Here you go." He said dropping them in the bag. I shook my head at him and smiled. Simon poked his round the door.
"Ready Kay?" He asked. I nodded. Tom picked up my bag as I got off the bed and picked up my crutches. I slowly and carefully made my way out of the hospital room. Simon walked slightly ahead and Tom walked beside me. We took the lift down to the car park. Simon opened the boot and Tom put my bag in there along with my crutches. Tom then helped me hop over to the car door and lowered me in. He then walked round and got in next to me. Simon climbed into the driver's seat. "Ready to go home?" He asked smiling at me.
"Yeap." I said smiling back. Him and Tom laughed and we drove home from the hospital with Tom resting his head on shoulder all the way.
(later that night)
Emily's POV
The party was in full swing! Me, Jay, Hannah and Siva were all dancing. Katie and Tom were sitting on the sofa laughing at us. Laura was helping Nathan with the drinks in the kitchen. Max and Charlotte were sitting in the arm chair having a snogging sesh. "Hey save it for the bedroom you two!" Tom shouted. Charlotte laughed and Max through a cushion at him. Katie laughed as it hit him straight in the face. He looked at her and then smiled.
"No!" She squeeled as he began tickling her. I laughed. Jay was laughing too. I looked over at Hannah and Siva. They were lost in each other's eyes. Charmaine was sulking in the corner. No-one knew what was wrong with her. She just sat there and refused to join in. Well, if she wanted to be like fine. I wasn't going to let her ruin it for me! Me and Jay went and sat down in the other armchair. Siva and Hannah remained dancing.
"Bloody hell! What are they doing out there?" Jay asked.
"I'm not sure I wanna know!" Charlotte said laughing.
"Oi! Laura, Nath! Are you two getting physical?" Max shouted. Laura came and stood in the doorway and threw a dishcloth at Max.
"No, we're washing up." She said giving Max a look. She went to retrieve the dishcloth but Max threw it at Tom. Laura kicked him and laughed. Tom passed her the dishcloth and headed back into the kitchen.
"I reckon they were getting physical, but they tried to cover it up!" Max said. We all laughed. It was good to have everything back to normal.
Charmaine's POV
Everyone else was laughing and joking. I was sat in the corner. I was going home tomorrow. Katie had been released from hospital so there was no reason for me to be here anymore. I needed to get Nathan tonight. But, it was extremely difficult with everyone else here. And of course there was Laura. I needed to think of a way to get her out of the way for tonight. I looked up as Nathan and Laura came back in from the kitchen carrying a tray full of drinks each. "What are you drinking Laura?" Katie asked as she picked up a cocktail.
"Just orange juice for me! One of us has to stay sober." She said shooting Tom a look. He widened his eyes in innocence. "And alcohol doesn't agree with me too well."
"Fair enough! at least you're still enjoying yourself." Hannah said picking up two drinks. One for herself and one for Siva. So, Laura wasn't drinking any alcohol tonight? I think I may have a plan.
