The Sokoto state police command has confirmed the killing of a member of the state house of assembly Muritala Wahoro.
Spokesman of the command Al Mustapha Sani said the decease was killed by gunmen in Mabiru area of Sokoto.
The late lawmaker was until his death representing Gada West Constituency in the Assembly since 1999 and was the chairman of the house committee on finance and appropriation.
