The crisis rocking the Action Congress party in Rivers State is now taking a new twist following report of the suspension of the Acting State Chairman of the party Esuku Esuku.

ACN in a statement signed by the State Secretary of the party Amonibia Akoko and the chairman of the Chairmen Forum Hope Onyeche said the decision to suspend Esuku Esuku was reached at an emergency meeting of the party today.

The Statement accused Esuku Esuku of allegedly working with the Rivers State government to register members on the proposed Rivers State APC registration.

It also accused Esuku Esuku of receiving bribe from the Rivers State government and misappropriation of the party’s money.

You will recall that Esuku Esuku had earlier announced the suspension of key officers of the ACN for anti party activities.
